The St Kilda Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite Wedding shoot locations. No matter what the time of year, there is always a dramatic background to be taken advantage of. I’m always a little bit nervous before the big day(funny right? I’m not the one getting married!). What will the weather be like? Will I be able to get my favorite spots in the garden or will some other wedding party beat me too it? What will the bridal couple be like to shoot? Naturals? Nervous? Often we have done some rehearsals but the big day changes everything. Passions are running high, sometimes the champagne has started flowing early…
This photoshoot was a joy to shoot, the bridal couple were both bundles of energy, all laughs and smiles – the huge love between them was obvious and it came out in the photos. The end result was an elegant set of shots that really captured the moment.
Happy couple, were even happier when they saw the shots – it’s one of my favorite parts of this job when I get to see their faces when they see the shots for the first time.
